- שֵׁזַרְתָּא, שִׁ׳, שֵׁי׳ch. sam(שזרה, שי׳ stem, rib). Targ. O. Lev. 3:9 (ed. Ber. שַׁוַּ׳, v. שַׁדַּרְתָּא). Targ. Koh. 12:5; a. e.Y.Ter.VIII, 46a שְׁזַרְתֵּיה דחיויוכ׳ we found in them the skeleton of a serpent. Y.Sabb.I, 3b ש׳, v. נַדַּל.
